And if the success of Android tablets passing by Chinese
companies? Huawei specializes in telecommunications networks and main
competitor Ericsson, NSN (Nokia Siemens) and Alcatel-Lucent, has
announced at least one tablet Android 3.2 for the third quarter. The
Chinese company even hopes to be part of the top five global player in
the shelves within three years.
The MediaPad, it is called, has been known for several months but was
unveiled today in Singapore. Armed with a 7-inch screen, the tablet will
be joined by a declination of 10 inches later. Its full specifications
are not available, but we already know this:

- Camera: 5 Mbps in the back, to 1.3 Mbps (with autofocus and recording HD)

This product is not the first of its kind for the Chinese. Huawei has in fact sold 200,000 of its S7
(Android 2.x), mainly in Asia. But with new shelves, the company has
Asian move up a gear and sell a million tablets. It remains to know its
price and its potential availability in Europe.
